Hello everyone, as some of you already know, my name is Tim,
and I am doing a make over on my site. I
have many plans for this, so please be patient.I plan on doing this make over to this site and looking to add other
input and ideas from family members. The
goal is too make this site more user friendly and interactive, so that even the
senior relatives out there can navigate. Eventually I want to add a kids section, any
ideas?
As for the site alone, you will be automatically inducted in
the (unknown name site) if you have one of the names listed that is connected
to the family tree, or married to someone who has one of the names listed who’s
in the family tree, or simply a direct cousin connected to the family tree. Upon induction to this make over’ed site you
will be asked to help out in any of the various ways of research or up keep of
this site. There is no obligation to
help but this is your site too, so you can at least pass the site around by
word of mouth or email to one of you’re family members, which would be a great
way to help.
This is going to take a lot of work and volunteers to make
this a full blown site for family members to connect and learn about there heritage.
Also, looking to find people to represent one if the listed
names to add to the contact list for that name. Basically the ambassador to that name for this
site that you choose to represent. If
the name is still available.I will be
sure to post what is needed and available in the future.
And this is the last note that I have; I am looking to add
over sea relatives to this site, a section for us American born relatives to
connect with the old country. Eventually
adding other family sites and recourses the link (other sites and resources).
Looking for people who:
-can research, lookup’s, obituaries, old town histories,
ect.
-can research individual family histories.
-know some aspect of web design to help out a few times a
year.
-can do traditional genealogy research.
-can translate in different languages, (primarily over sea
relatives).
-can give ideas and positive input.
